Marketing & Events Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
Increase revenue through effective marketing and promotion of venue hire though:
Marketing and Promotion
- Develop and Implement a Marketing Strategy:
- Create and apply a marketing plan to promote venue hire.
- Content Creation:
- Produce engaging content for social media, email and website.
- Design and distribute promotional materials both online and offline.
- Maintain an updated photo and video library showcasing the venue and events.
- Brand Management:
- Ensure all marketing materials align with the club’s brand and values.
- Monitor and respond to online reviews to maintain a positive brand image.
- Market Analysis:
- Identify new trends, opportunities and competitor strategies.
Administrative Tasks
- Booking Management:
- Liaise with client for invoicing, payments, deposit returns & post event follow up.
- Record bookings in events calendar.
- Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on venue performance.
These responsibilities aim to ensure the Marketing & Events Coordinator effectively promotes the Parkdale Yacht Club as a premier venue, driving revenue growth through strategic marketing.
About You
Background
- Marketing Experience:
- Developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Graphic Design Experience:
- Creating promotional materials and content for online and offline mediums.
- Customer Service Experience:
- Client liaison and managing customer relationships.
Personal Attributes
- Detail-Oriented:
- Strong attention to detail in marketing materials, client interactions and record keeping.
- Creative Thinker:
- Innovative approach to social media content and marketing strategies.

- Ability to work collaboratively with the broader PYC team and external partners.

Wage: Registered and Licensed Clubs Award $38 per hour + 11.5% SG
