A PYC Sailing Membership has the following benefits:

• Access to PYC sailing facilities and changerooms on sailing days, 
• Free entry to weekly PYC Club racing,

• Involvement in our Club environment,

• PYC Membership addresses the Australian Sailing racing rules,
• All PYC Sailing Members aged 14 years & over have a right to vote at all meetings of the Club,
• PYC membership gives you registration with Australian Sailing which includes a Personal Accident Insurance Policy whilst engaged in sailing activities.

Volunteering @ PYC

Not a sailor or perhaps a boatie and want to be involved more with community on this gorgeous bay?
Parkdale yacht club (PYC) has a range of activities and roles you might like to be involved with.

• Supporting our start and rescue boat skippers. Spend time on the water on race days in assisting in starting races or setting up the racing course overseeing the sailors during the racing.
•          Assisting in the race tower on race days. Supporting the duty officer in overseeing the races and recording finishing times of sailors
•         Assisting in the canteen with serving club and public members. A great way to get to know people in a relaxed environment.

As a dedicated volunteer supporting club’s activities, you pay no membership fee.

SailPass Temporary Membership

Not sure if you are ready to commit to a full Membership yet? 

SailPass is a means by which a non-member can enjoy sailing at Parkdale Yacht Club.

It is a form of introductory or short-term membership for a maximum total of 5 separate sailing days.

Benefits of SailPass

• Enjoy sailing, meet new friends, get to know our amazing club,
• Access club facilities including the bar,
• Australian Sailing Personal Accident Insurance for the day,
• Australian Sailing Number for the day (necessary for all who race).

Social Memberships @ PYC

PYC offers a limited membership class for those interested in participating in the social life of the Club but not in the on-water sailing activities. We offer regular Sunday afternoon live music and social events (see our upcoming events).  This is a non-sailing membership, therefore Social Members are not privileged to vote at Club meetings, nor stand for office of the Club. Please be aware as a Social Member you do not have free access to our downstairs changerooms nor to the boat storage area.
